Health insurance plan options have changed year to year over the last decade. For many who are not on an employer-sponsored health insurance plan an individual plan is the best option. Now that the ACA’s individual mandate has been repealed American’s face their final year of having a tax penalty imposed on them for choosing not to purchase an ACA compliant health plan. This mandate required all American’s to have an ACA compliant plan or pay a tax penalty which equated to $1,500 or more for many! So, it’s good news for the American people!
Most understand that health insurance is important and has value and benefits. But, who wants to pay an outrageous monthly premium for next to no benefits on a plan no one will accept.
