Cigna’s Medicare supplement plans allow you to choose any doctor that accepts Medicare without referrals in most instances. They’re also renewable for life (unless your plan cancels for nonpayment or material misrepresentation) and feature several no-cost programs and services like Cigna Healthy Rewards and Health Information Line.

Plan G provides many of the same coverages as Plan F, although you’ll be responsible for paying your Part B (Medical) annual deductible before the plan’s coverage takes effect.
However, Plan G also comes with a lower premium, so it might be a viable option if you want to pay less in exchange for paying the Part B deductible out of pocket.

In exchange for a lower monthly premium, Plan N requires you to pay a $20 copay for some office visits and a $50 copayment for emergency room visits. You’ll also be responsible for Part B excess charges.

Plan A provides the lowest level of coverage on this list. Therefore, it might be a good option if you feel you already have enough coverage under Original Medicare Parts A and B but want some extra protection.

If you were eligible for Medicare before 2020, Plan F provides the highest level of coverage while avoiding out-of-pocket expenses for Medicare-covered services. Compared to others, the plan also covers your Part B deductible.

The high-deductible Plan F provides all of the same coverages as the standard version. However, coverage doesn’t kick in until you’ve paid your Part A and B deductibles, making the plan ideal for someone who has fewer annual health expenses.
